The Good Neighbor Project
The Good Neighbor Project is a community-driven initiative dedicated to promoting volunteerism, kindness, and support for local nonprofits in Columbia, Luzerne, and Montour counties, as well as the greater Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA) region. Founded on over 13 years of active community service, this project grew from the efforts of Sean Black, who has used his State Farm insurance agency to provide financial support, free marketing, and volunteer hours to numerous non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals in need.
We believe in the power of recognizing good deeds, whether it's a random act of kindness or a consistent commitment to helping others. Our mission is to inspire a wave of positive action and connection by highlighting and celebrating those who go above and beyond in their communities.
